Work-Study Positions

Work-Study is a federal program that allows on-campus and select off-campus employers to employ ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵstudents. Students must meet certain eligibility requirements in order to apply for Work-Study positions.

  • Eligibility is determined based on a student’s financial need from a combination of their FAFSA results, estimated cost of attendance, and the other types of financial aid being received.
  • Federal Work-Study is not like a grant or loan where students you the money in a lump sum.  It’s a regular job where you work, then get paid for the hours you worked in that pay period.

Current available Work-Study positions are list on our careers opening page under Student Positions.  Please email finanicalaid@statetechmo.edu to confirm your Work-Study eligibility.
